On Friday, March 1, students can come to school dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss character. We will have a costume parade and end the day with a Dr. Seuss themed assembly!
We will also be making a hat to wear to the parade/assembly!

Today we celebrated Everybody Matters Day and made a Friendship Tree with all of our hand prints. We also learned about Dental Health, cleaned a Monster's teeth, and cleaned a yellow tooth by painting it white with a toothbrush.
Have a fabulous vacation week!! We have been having a great week filled with many fun activities! We sorted candy hearts, made a heart collage (using celery, pipe cleaners, toilet paper holders and sponges all in the shapes of hearts), played Valentine's Day BINGO, read There Was An Old Lady That Swallowed A Rose, used daubers to make a heart, and sorted mail by all different shapes.
This Friday we will be celebrating Everyone Matter's Day at CES. Every student will receive an Everyone Matters Shirt in the morning on Friday. We will be collecting donations for the local food pantry. Students will bring their donations to the afternoon assembly.
Last week we made heart name worms, explored with strawberry play doh, sorted shapes and colors and made a handprint heart tree. This week I look forward to playing Valentine's Day Bingo, sorting candy hearts, and making a collage of hearts!
Yesterday and today we had so much fun with vehicles in shaving cream, painting egg carton trains, doing an alphabet train puzzle, counting/matching numbers with trains, vehicle magnet puzzles and the bubble machine. Have a great weekend!
