This week we have been working on counting, identifying numbers in different ways, sorting, and demonstrating number value with different apple activities. Our sensory table changed to all different fall items to explore!
This week we started learning about apples! We learned about the life cycle of an apple and read Ten Red Apples. While we were reading the book we took turns finding the animals and taking apples off the tree just like the animals in the book.
we have been reading about buses and read the story, Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus. We painted craft sticks and made them into a bus, with the pigeon in the drivers seat!
Have a great weekend! This week we read If You Take A Mouse to School, sequenced the story with pictures, painted our own mouse and wrote a sentence about what our mouse will do when we take him to school.
Keep a lookout in your children's backpack for our first class book we made! Everyone will have a chance to take the book home to read with their family! Today we read There Was An Old Lady That Swallowed Some Books, played Classroom Bingo (learning about what/how we use materials at school, and used daubbers to mark what we needed when we are at school. It sure has been hot, but we are having an awesome week in room 108! After doing our work today we took a break with some dancing and watching GoNoodle!
